Join us for a unique guided excursion over 3 days – a journey through time! Start as a Stone Age hunter by the cliff face at Flørli, searching watchfully for big game and adventure. You eat and sleep in the same spot where the first Norwegians had their campsite, ten thousand years ago. The next day we walk through heathlands – from the Bronze Age back to the longhouse at Landa, where lamb is being grilled and legends are retold around the fire. Wake up in the Iron Age the next morning, and take part in tasks that need doing on the farm. Later, there will be a feast in the Banquet Hall "Gildehallen". We round off the day in the Viking Era and in the Middle Ages, rowing on the Lysefjord in the wake of trappers of centuries past. Experienced nature guides lead you safely through mountainous terrain – and they enrich the journey by telling you of our region’s past, perhaps sharing tales that make the people who preceded us really come alive!
Start-day is Wednesdays in the period between 04.07.07-17.08.07.
