In Sauda you are never far from beautiful scenery and outdoor adventure. Here you can enjoy a cup of coffee in town, while looking up at snow-clad peaks. During every season of the year the area offers a wealth of tempting activities and attractions. Grab your fishing pole and head for one of the many nearby lakes or rivers on a summer day, or strap on your skis on a sparkly winter day. Sauda has something for everyone!

Guests have a choice of varied accommodation, ranging from simple camping or a cabin by the fjord or in the mountains, to a comfortable hotel room.

National Tourist Route Ryfylke passes through Sauda town centre.

Sauda’s Tourist Information Office is situated by the express boat quay. In the winter, you can take “the ski boat” from this quay – a combined journey by express boat and bus that takes you straight to the ski centre and snowy slopes. All year, of course, you can head to the scenic destinations of your choice in magnificent Ryfylke!

Open during summer.
Rest of the year, contact the municipal service centre at 52 78 62 00.
