Historic hotel in Jørpeland, Ryfylke, with a great view of the fjord. Situated near Pulpit Rock and the Lysefjord. Traditional Norwegian food served. Ideal for meetings, conferences, private parties and group events.
The hotel was built in 1914 for the management of the local steelworks. Through the years it has been used for accommodation and company events. For Christmas parties and during the celebration of Norway’s National Day on the 17th of May, the children of managers and supervisors would gather here, while the workers’ children celebrated in the trade union house.
Tables may be reserved for private groups. Provided you give us at least 24 hours notice, we also welcome reservations outside normal opening hours for groups of 10 persons or more.
We also offer five holiday houses and a farm hotel at Høiland Farm in Årdal.
